At Lux MVMT Dance Studios, our mission is to reignite the dancer within you. We create a welcoming, low-pressure space for adults who grew up dancing and want to reconnect with their passion. Through dynamic pop-up classes in Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, and more, we aim to inspire joy, confidence, and a sense of community, proving it’s never too late to move, groove, and embrace the love of dance again.

Meet Ashley, our Founder

Hi, I’m Ashley Vranek, the founder of Lux MVMT Dance Studio, established in January 2023. My vision for Lux MVMT was to create a warm, welcoming space where adults could discover—or rediscover—their love for dance.

My own dance journey began at the age of three and carried me through childhood into adulthood. From dancing on school and competitive teams to performing with the University of Illinois’ Legend Dance Company, dance has always been a central part of my life.

As an adult living in Chicago, I continued my passion by attending classes at renowned studios like Hubbard Street, Joffrey Ballet, and Visceral Dance. These experiences kept my love for dance alive and inspired me to envision a space where others could share this joy without the pressures of competition.

When I moved to Dallas in September 2020, I saw an opportunity to build a dance community that celebrates creativity and fun for adults. Lux MVMT Dance Studio was born from this dream—a space where dancers can express themselves, connect with others, and simply enjoy the art of movement.
